Are you ready to race 3.1 miles on March 15th? Train with a supportive small group leading up to race day so you can cross the finish line happy and healthy! The USATF-certified 5K course is a point-to-point course. The race begins at Charles and Mulberry Streets and proceeds south along the parade route to Conway Street, east to Light Street, south to Key Highway to a turnaround point near Jackson Street. Return on Key Highway to go north on Light Street to Pratt Street then to Market Place (left turn). Finish on Market Place between Pratt and Lombard Streets at Power Plant Live.
The race course is closed to bikes, skaters and baby joggers/strollers.
Water will be provided on course and at the finish line.
The letter on your race bib corresponds to your starting corral. Placement in corrals is determined by the estimated pace you provided during registration. All runners should be in their corrals by 1PM. If you wish to run with a person who has been assigned a different corral you may move back to a later corral, but not forward to an earlier position. Volunteers will be in place to help guide you to the correct corral on race day!
Cash awards to the top three men and women in the open division of $150, $125 and $100. In addition, a $100 prize will be awarded to the first man and the first woman in the masters division (40 and over).
Age group awards to top 3 male and female in the following age groups: 10 and under, 11-15, 16-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, and 70 and over.
Overall and Masters awards are determined by gun time, and age groups are awarded by net time. There are no duplications.
All preregistered runners will receive a gender-specific, Under Armour technical T-shirt, a finishers medal, FREE race photography and entry to the post-race party. Runners 21 and over will receive 2 complimentary beers.

Volunteers will receive a volunteer shirt and entry to the post-race party. Volunteers should check in on race day at the Power Plant Live! To volunteer please email email@example.com.
Live music and awards will be hosted by Power Plant Live! just north of finish line at Market Place and Water Streets. All runners 21 and over can enjoy 2 free beers at the finish line, but you WILL need proper identification near the finish line. Other light refreshments/snacks will be provided. The awards ceremony will be held during the post race celebration.
TRANSFER & DEFERRAL POLICY:
We allow transfers and deferrals up to two weeks prior to race day. There is a $10 processing fee for transfers and deferrals. The transfer processing fee is paid by the "new registrant". You may transfer by going into your profile on runsignup.com and choosing manage registration. Transfer and deferrals will not be allowed after Sunday March 1st, 2020.
Please no baby joggers, strollers, roller blades, skates, bikes, dogs, pets or headphones allowed on the race course. Your race number must be worn on your front and must be visible. DO NOT exchange or give your race number to another participant.
